Psychics and Preachers

Yes, I’m going there. People choose to see a psychic or go to church to listen to a preacher for various reasons, but the reason they have in common is one’s need for answers and guidance. When a person doesn’t trust their own inner compass (intuition, gut feeling, God message, that little something of a nudge), they seek it outside of themselves in various ways…two of those ways are seeking psychic advice or listening to a preacher.

I am not saying it’s wrong to seek out each of these things, no. There are people I trust in each profession. I am saying to look at what you receive as a form of advice. To consider the information you get, but to decide for yourself if the message spoke to you in clarity for your situation or not.

There are honest psychics and some not so honest ones. There are preachers really wanting to help you strengthen your faith and others speaking from ego because they have a following.

All of us seek answers outside of ourselves from time to time. I know, for me, to speak on something or write it down, helps bring clarity as stated previously. I also know that being open to outside advice, such as these, can be just as valid a way to have that clarity as well.

Seek advice and counsel if needed, yes. Trust how you feel about it even more so though. You are always the captain of your own journey and what you choose to do, or not do, is ultimately up to you.

Weighing Choices

When you find yourself in a situation with several choices, you need to weigh them. If you’re the praying sort, start with that. It’s definitely a good idea to take some deep breaths, center yourself to focus on the one situation at hand. This will give you a better flow of insight and help you to not have any sort of worry or panic vibes to distort the flow.

Then, take a paper, maybe several papers or just tear the one paper into pieces, and write down a possible solution to the situation you’re working through on each piece. If you feel led to, also consider there’s another solution you don’t yet see. In some situations, the God input isn’t yet clear, but should still be considered.

As one example, I broke down on a trip from here to there and found myself at the nearest hotel. I’d weighted my options and even implemented some of them. One option didn’t work out, so in the early morning of the next day, I sat at the desk there and wrote down solutions to my situation. As I looked over the solutions, one in particular “glowed” as the solution to pursue. I then took that action and the remaining things worked out for the best.

As another example, a little closer to home, a family situation arose and choices had to be made. I stood by my personal choices as that’s what I felt I had to do in the seriousness of the situation. I am okay with that. Where did I go from there, that I wasn’t sure of. I placed the situation with God and did my best to have him handle it going forward because I knew things were precarious at best and trusting God was very much needed in this situation. Since that main scenario, the steps forward have been careful, but okay.

I’ve done this in various situations over time and it really works. Getting things out of your head and onto paper allows you to see and really get a clear picture of what can and can’t be done. I also allows room for possible ideas you haven’t yet thought of. Even then, once you’ve laid out the details, and things still don’t have a clear answer, it’s a good idea to give more pause and patience to the situation to see what else develops. Some things do take care of themselves without your direct help.

Think on this. I hope it’s helped you. Do message me to order your personal words of comfort. ((aprildaisy4 @ yahoo.com)) Thank you for being here.

Some Moments are Sad

I talk a lot here about thinking positive, but sometimes, a person is sad, upset, crying, not feeling the “up” vibes. I think that’s okay. To be “up” all of the time isn’t really realistic. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes the weather is just cloudy…and on and on….

If it rained all of the time, things wouldn’t be right. If it was sunny all of the time, well, that’d be really dry. It’s the same basic principle in how we feel. I think the weather is a great analogy for or emotions and what we’re processing at any given time.

We may remember a passed over loved one or get frustrated with a project that isn’t going smoothly or any number of reasons and situations.

Any and all of it is okay for a time. That’s the key thing to remember, for a time. Like the weather….

Knowledge Gained

Yesterday I was in a situation whereby my truck gave me an issue. It turned out, at the end of the day, to not be the issue I thought it was, but the problem will be fixed in short time.

My husband is mechanically inclined and has taught me some things over the years. Because of this, I wasn’t totally clueless about what the problem could be. Having this knowledge empowered me to try to sort it through on my own first, then ask for his help.

This is why I love knowledge and think it’s not ever a waste, no matter how you originally came about that knowledge either. One never knows when the knowledge will be needed, but having the knowledge gives a great advantage when faced with something needing that knowledge.

Another example is crocheting. I’ve been crocheting for some time and know the general basics. I was looking for a certain pattern a couple of times, but hadn’t found anything that completely appealed to me. However, because I had knowledge of those basics and of what could be done, I created each project with a mixture of crochet pattern ideas so that I then created something I was totally happy with each time. This knowledge gained worked to my advantage in those situations.

What about knowledge for one thing, but using it for something else? Well, that was a situation with life insurance. I’d somehow gotten into life insurance school and studied well. I didn’t make a great agent though and that was a short lived profession. However, the knowledge I did gain allows me to give people general advice from time to time.

Maybe there’s a point in your life whereby you have gained knowledge to then be useful farther down the line. A lot of times it’s a small bit of knowledge to pass on to someone else, such as, “Oh, I read an article about this very topic and it was suggested that….” Or, “Here’s the number of a great person that can help you with that.” Etc. Someone can also gain that small bit of knowledge and pass it along to you. You may have had that happen to you as well.

How has someone made a difference in your life?

I want you to think on this and maybe, if you’d like, acknowledge it to the other person. That person may need to hear something really good about them at this time as well. You never know how far your warmth will sink in.

What do you now do because of something you learned from someone you met or know? This is a difference that person made in your life. You elevated in some way and it shows. 😀

My grandmother crocheted so the curiosity was there. In later years, my aunt taught me the basics and because of her, I now crochet. My grandmother did thread as well and I ventured into that, now doing both yarn and crochet creations. Both of these women made a difference in my life in this way.

My husband showed me so many different life choices when I met him, through the people he knew that were living those different choices. This is a huge part of how I came to become the person I am today.

Some people have come into my life to show me what NOT to be doing. I’ve observed and taken notes about that to add to my “journey knowledge”.

Take some time with this thinking. Where has someone made a direct impact upon your life? How can you acknowledge that and say, “thank you”? Do you then see ways you’ve made impacts on people?

Sometimes we make impacts like this and don’t ever realize it. I am sure of this. Other times, we make the impacts and others tell us so…so we then know. Either way, you are making a difference in some way in this big thing called life. You can be assured of that.

The solution hasn’t yet arrived?

What about things you’ve prayed for and the solution hasn’t yet arrived? I wonder about this just as much as you do. I do my best to remind myself some things are on God time. From my little ugly toe to a dear love’s physical ailments. I’ve bought many things, tried many things, wondered what else I may be missing…all, for not getting very far…all, for still an ugly toe.

This does remind me that not everything can be fixable by me at this time. I’m talented, but not in charge. I can create and give and be kind, but that won’t magically fix every single thing or person that comes my way.

It is not for me to fix all of it. It is only for me to fix as it’s the right timing for…nothing more, but nothing less either. So, in knowing this, for you or for me, what’s the answer?

I think the answer is to trust there’s a divine solution in divine time. Sometimes the solution doesn’t ever really happen before the person passes over. What of that? Well, then we are reminded of how this person made us feel and we hold on to that…to feelings and love.

When I cross over, if I still have that ugly toe, I really hope people mention the difference I made in their lives and not my ugly toe. lol It seems funny, but it’s also a truth.

My Dad passed over many years ago now. He had an accident when I was young and suffered in pain for most of the remainder of his life. Surgeries and medicine didn’t do much to help his body, no. I am sad for his pain that went on and on, but that’s not his essence. I remember his essence and that’s what I feel when I think of him.

Sometimes we focus on the problem, many times we focus on the problem, and forget to be in the essence of the person, of ourselves. Where we fall short, be it our own actions or things that become part of our life, like the toe, isn’t what our shine is. In that thinking, we can shine even with imperfections of sorts. Think on this. It is a deep message and one that could make a huge difference in your life going forward from this day.

Do you sometimes think your contribution isn’t enough?

I was giving some one card readings yesterday on my personal page in New Year fun. One of the readings spoke of someone contributing to the whole Universal collective in her own relaxing, fun way. I think this person in particular is such a free spirit and she shows, to me, a freedom I don’t embody at all. I love being friends with her and seeing all that she’s accomplishing in such a less rigid society way.

Her particular card spoke of her wondering if she should do more. I assured her she was doing plenty by being her and shining her light. So, I ask you, do you think you should be doing more?

Do you not realize that God knows the shape and make of you? Yes, you can always be bolder and step outside of your comfort zone, but that’s different for everyone and sometimes all that means is being authentically you without explanation. Think about that.

How do you contribute right now?! What if I told you that you, being YOU, is how you’re contributing right now. There are people that admire you because you’re a freer thinker than they are. There are people who know you’re OCD and love you anyways. There is “the world”, of which God is in charge of and there is “your world” of which you are somewhat in charge of and in some ways, to some people, you’re king/queen of the hill.

You, being you, in a way that makes your soul shine, is how you best contribute to the world. Cheers.

Today marks a New Year

Hello! Today marks a New Year. For many of us this year, we’re extremely happy to have moved on from 2020. Today is still filled with the troubles of yesterday, but it’s a day with a new purpose…it looks like potential, progress, as if the slow hands of time in 2020 can possibly go away.

I remember back in March or thereabouts, telling my then 8 year old we’d only have to quarantine for a couple of months. Now, here it is, many months later and the start of a new year even and nothing much has changed for many of us in the routine of sanitizing and social distancing. In other ways, it has crushed many people…made some rich…given some blessings they would have missed otherwise.

I know, in many ways, it was the year of cosmic shifts for our world. People found their voices.

Many, many, many people lost loved ones this past year. It may become the year we don’t speak of because so much of it seemed like a mess.

What was real for some people seemed like it was fake for another person because they’re not living in it. The biggest thing we saw, I believe, is that people will stand up for what they truly believe and in this world, that’s two sides of a fence. The contrast, in this way, hasn’t been this present in some time.

What does that mean for you? Well, it means, “What do YOU believe is a truth for you in looking ahead? Is YOUR faith enough to sustain you in this time? Do you want to continue with your faith? Did you find something else? Do you need a spiritual ‘time out’?”

It means, now more than ever, what you believe is what will define you. It is also where your compassion is. Remember, it is not for us to change the whole world to our thinking, but to be kind and especially, when we can, to be understanding towards one another.

If I can be my witchy, psychic intuitive self and still have a solid faith, then you can believe as you see fit for your own life. God wants to partner with you and there is no one way to do that.

Now that we’ve made it out of 2020, what is it that you believe for yourself in 2021? How are you being kind? How are you speaking your truth? Can you live in your truth and also be okay with your neighbor believing something else?

This is what I think 2020 vibrated with the most, the notion that one can have a belief, a voice, and also a contrast. Powerful this year has been, but not nearly as powerful as the today we’re creating.

Book Vibes

I love books and for a few years, I had access to several different libraries, including our state library. This was like getting a slice of Heaven in my world. I love learning new things and knowledge was almost a hobby of sorts during that time.

Recently I saw a view of a major retail book store. This impressed upon me the idea that I am presenting you with today, Book Vibes.

We are, each one of us, like an individual book with our own vibration. Yes, each book has its own vibration. It’s like a beacon for those seeking it’s knowledge or comfort or easy reading. Some books get read by only a handful of people, others go on to be best sellers for years.

There may be six books on one topic, at a library or book store, but you won’t be drawn to every single one of them, no. Each is written a certain way by the author. Some will be written in a way you understand, others will be written in a way that doesn’t connect with you. That doesn’t make any of them wrong, just different ways to get the knowledge out to different people.

Also, there may not have been a book written yet on how you see things. Think about that. That’s how new books keep getting written, new discoveries, new feelings, other paths to consider. Books of new perspectives or knowledge to be shared by the seekers that seek answers.

We are like books in some ways. We’re walking, talking bits of knowledge. Some of us attract lots of “readers” and others attract just a small handful. Each one of us is important and relevant. Still, others will be born to someday share something new on the horizon that is life.

What is your Goliath?

I don’t want you to think of this story as a situation of the war in which it is. I want you to think of this story in an analogy of your life today. You are David. Goliath is whatever you are currently having trouble with in your life.

God prepares you for all things. Sometimes you are not brave enough to accomplish those things for many reasons…

  1. You don’t think yourself capable.
  2. You didn’t have enough time to prepare.
  3. You’re old.
  4. You know someone is going to say you’re not qualified
  5. Or incapable.
  6. Your own relatives may disprove, that’s sometimes harder.

Continue to add to this list as you personally see fit. Here’s the deal though… Do you trust God for your life, or do you continue to hinge any decision YOU make with the OPINIONS of OTHERS?

It is perfectly okay to seek out other perspectives if you’re a person who sees clarity by letting your thoughts wander outside of your head; however, keep in mind that another person will give you answers based on either their agenda or how they see you as a person. What if you want to be brave and try something new? You wouldn’t necessarily gain support from someone who has seen you only do certain things and not these new things. Think on this.

By trusting your own nudging and God’s help, your possibilities are much farther reaching. If it’s a thought and feeling created from within yourself…within your soul…it has a real possibility of manifesting as reality within your life.

Within Yourself. Within Your Soul. Within Your Life. Yes.

So, this Goliath that is before you, is it bigger and more capable than God’s assistance? God can personally intervene for you. He can send Angels to your aid, especially when you ask for them. He can do great things…for YOU.

Think on this today and any time you find a Goliath in front of you. God is greater than any of these things. If you’re of faith, that means you’re of trust.
