Talents, faith building and psychic guidance

So, I was thinking just now of some recent good going on. I realized that I am quite talented in helping with faith in God building, helping people shift from stuck to forward, and can be psychic for people…to read and to help them develop. I know none of those things are usually in the same sentence and it’s quite not the norm, but it is me. I am really fabulous at all of these things. I also know most people will not be looking for all of these things together. That is okay.

I recently came across some people who are also firm believers in God, yet have psychic talents. It was so nice to see others understanding the world in the way that I do. It helped to not feel so “paving a new trail all alone”. It was a huge shift for me.

Maybe that is something for you to think on. Is there something you want to try or develop, but you think you’re the only one doing it? I can assure you, you’re not. You may not have met anyone in your “tribe” yet as this is a great big world, but the more you speak about your true nature, at some point ahead, you will meet someone you can relate to. You will also meet curious people along the way (some fabulous, some…not so much).

It’s like a signal if you will think on it like that. You’re telling the Universe who you are and that allows people to show up for you. Your tribe, people who need your services, and other good win-win situations!

Now, more than ever, be YOU.

Faith or Fear?

I am about to take a little trip. By the time this is posted, the trip will have gotten underway and we’ll be smack in the middle of it. I was talking with someone and she listed things to be mindful of…bring blankets and water…watch the weather…be careful while driving. Of course I will take all of these things into consideration.

Later, as my mind was doing it’s “processing”, I reminded myself that my faith has to be bigger than the fear of “what ifs”. If I’m to trust God as I say I do, I’m all in for his care of me and my loved ones.

To be honest, last year at about this time, life had me making almost the same exact trip, for a different reason. On that trip, I drove through a snow storm (didn’t realize I was in one and had never done so before), broke down miles away from just about anyone I knew (about an hour from a dear friend), and had to think of a game plan with my family…husband in one state, daughter in another, son in another…trying to make sure I was okay and things could work out.

Things did work out. I was okay. God got me through it with safety and grace.

Think about this…is your faith bigger than your fear? Even if you get one of those “what went wrong” incidents, you’re still going to get through it. God is where I’m at, his grace is my shield, his love is everlasting.

God knows beforehand

Yesterday I was going to a thrift store to pick up some clothing for a child I’d be taking on a trip with us soon. He comes over regular and I had clothing for a night or two, but not necessarily enough for a week. I could have asked his Dad for more of his home wardrobe, but I figure at $1 an item, several extra clothes I could get.

As I’m looking for things, it occurs to me that the child needed something nice for the special event we were going to. I know his parents didn’t have that on hand as not everyone does. I also knew this was the only stop I’d be making for the clothes. So I prayed right then and there and said, “God, you knew I’d need the nice clothing too, even before I just realized at this moment, please help me find it.”

I looked among the boys clothing and found a really nice pair of pants and a button down shirt. My young daughter also found a tie for him…not sure we’re going to use that though…what kid wants a tie. lol

Even so, I prayed for an answer to something I needed an immediate solution to and had forgotten to pray about beforehand. God knew. God provided. All is well.

Being Gifted and Unique

Hi! I think we’re all gifted and unique in a certain way. Even if we’re doing the same thing as someone else, who we are as individuals, our personalities, our views on life, how we feel, how we go about things…all of these things are completely different in each individual. An easy analogy to this is singers. Some songs have been sung by many different people. Yet each version is it’s own unique piece. Some people may like all versions, some may like some, some may terribly dislike others. This is how life is and sets us apart from each other…even when we’re doing the same thing as someone else. Think about this for a moment, it’s huge.

If you think you’re not good at anything, if you just think the routine of your day is all you have, you’ve simply not noticed what others see in you. There are people who come to you because you’re good at something. It could be making that perfect apple pie. It could be giving that sincere hug. It could be your perfection withย  numbers. There’s a great many things that it could be, some of it may look ordinary, but this thing sets you apart in some ways and allows you to shine in a way that attracts those who are looking for what you seek…it could be current friends who know you already…or it could be someone placed upon your path because you have what they need at that moment. It’s outstanding really.

I’m blessed with lots of talents. Some were born out of a need to create something for a family member…skin salve/cream or crocheting hats. Others were born for reasons I don’t know of, but can do…writing intuitive comfort letters, understanding the messages of colors, and being a little psychic. I use any of them when I feel the urge…sometimes directly from God (in the instances with the comfort letters mostly).

You are talented. You are unique. You are important. In this tapestry we call life, your thread matters. ๐Ÿ™‚

Having Strong Faith

I believe a person should have a faith so strong and so secure, that someone of another faith or path doesn’t sway them. You should be sure of how you feel and how you walk your journey.

When people of other faiths ask me about my faith, I tell them, “God and I are good.” It’s that simple for me and should be the end of “inquiring to change me”.

There was a man and his friend who came to my house one time to preach and inquire about my faith. At first, I looked at him and said, “God and I are good.” He just couldn’t understand what that meant. He really was rather bothered by it. I then go on to say I was a Catholic many years ago. This was something he could understand and “attack”. He proceeded to tell me all the things wrong with being a Catholic and why I should listen to him instead. It was an odd conversation in many ways.

I realized later that he couldn’t understand something he had not come across before…a simple trusting faith. He did know how to attack another faith though. I find that a slight character flaw.

Each of us understands the world in different ways. The culture of the Pentecostal religion may speak to one person’s soul, while the culture of the Catholic religion may speak to another’s soul, and on and on for all the religions to choose from. Even to not have a religion.

It is one thing to inquire if a person is actively seeking a change in their faith and give guidance according to personal knowledge therein. It is something completely different and rude to bash another religion so as to make yours seem brighter and the more holy one.

We gain by being a helping hand, not by thrashing in words.

In the know flow

When you’re on the right track of a thing, your life flows fairly easily. Happenings are almost life gifts given to you. I remember when my husband and I were house hunting many years ago. We’d looked and looked and had seen quite a few houses all over the area. Some we immediately said “no” to and some we thought long on; however, when we found a little house out farther yonder than even we lived then, we just knew it was ours. The realtor lady said someone else was looking at it, but we knew it was ours and that the other people would pass…they did. From the moment we looked at that house, the flow was instant. Setting up ourselves to get that house was easy, the mortgage was easy, and everything in between. On the day we signed for that house, a rainbow appeared in the sky…reassuring me we were indeed in the right flow. We adored that house for three years.

Hmmm, I once transferred jobs because the signs were there and that flow was easy. The signs haven’t always been easy in some aspects, but they’re still there to help me along my way. Maybe I’m not always on the right flow, but that doesn’t mean I’m not always protected, guided, being useful along the way.

Giving Space for Time

You’ve asked for something specific. Prayed for it, are manifesting it, definitely desire it within your future. Now what? You then give space for time.

Many things take a little bit of co-ordination to come to pass. Some things aren’t meant to be, but for those things that are…patience is key. I was recently looking into a new idea to consider. I did some research, then gave it the space of time, debating on if it was just another idea or one to really consider. A relative came to me a few days later and says, “Look, I’m about to buy this machine that allows you to put things on T-shirts. If the young one wants something, let me know. If you want something done, you can use it.” I had this totally shocked look on my face as I had just researched about this very topic!

I looked at her and said, “Yes, I have ideas. I was just researching this and here you are.” So, I may look into this for myself even farther…maybe bags and not T-shirts as those are harder for sizes.

Whatever I choose to do, I pondered it, gave it space, and there it arrived. It showed up in a way I wasn’t expecting, but that way actually makes things easier if I do decide to explore that idea more.

I’ve said it several times, “God has connections I don’t have.” I may see a way or not, but if it’s meant to be, a way will be provided. Yes indeed!

One-on-One with God

Okay, so I’ve written several posts and haven’t gotten to this part yet, let me remedy that. What is it do I mean when I say, “One-on-One with God”? Well, I mean to listen to your intuition, gut feeling, the guidance that whispers to you. I mean to pray in silence, to listen in silence, and trust what you feel led to do accordingly. You could even journal this journey to see how it evolves for you.

I believe everyone has intuition as it’s an inner compass for your best life. I am a firm believer in God and think my guidance comes from him and my helpers. I believe all of us are unique and are value to this world.

I am not a fan of church as I don’t really see the value, personally, in them. I know fellowship is huge for some and it works to be part of something bigger than themselves. I can appreciate that for those that find the comfort and care others of like mind give them.

However, a one-on-one with God is conversing with him several times a day in a personal way. It is writing to him, praying to him, talking things over with him to see the bigger picture of something I’m working through. It is also trusting on how God responds and giving time and space for that response. It is being bolder for myself knowing I am guided and cared for every step of the way.

Ask your Angels

As a former Catholic, I was raised to believe God gave each of us a guardian angel to help us on our journey of life. As I’ve lived and evolved into a highly intuitive person, I have come to believe we have a team of helpers, not just one.

Our Angels and Helpers are with us throughout our journey, some come and go actually, based on what we ask for or need at any given time. The aim, always, is to be there for us should we ask for or need assistance in some way.

We have free will in all that we do. Have you thought about that? What does that mean to you? You can say to me, “No I don’t. I have to go to work to take care of this or that.” Sure, some things must be taken care of to keep the cogs of your life running. However, some things, how you view life, how you present yourself, even how you pray, are all on you and what you choose in each day.

If you don’t like something about your life, take some time to write down what you would like, ask your Angels and Helpers for help, and envision your life shifting accordingly. This isn’t to say you can’t pray directly to God about things, by all means, do that always. This is to say that God has assigned you specific extra helpers based on your needs at any given time. To me, that’s powerful and love.

You can even pray for a specific new Helper for something you’d like to accomplish that you’ve never accomplished before. Maybe French cooking, yoga, better communication towards people…the list goes on.

I have always looked at my Angels and Helpers as a collective Team. Some people can tell which are Angels and which are Spirit Helpers. Sometimes, when I get a new helper for a while, something is different than it was before. Different in what way? Well, once I wrote the number 4 differently for a few months than I did previously and then later stopped. I’ve changed the way I wrote one letter in my writing several times too. I’ve had the smell of fingernail polish for several days in my house while on one particular project.ย  Apparently I needed extra assistance through some periods in my life and was provided that. I appreciate it completely.

All of that said, to say, we must ask for assistance in particular for certain projects. It is one thing to know we’ve helpers to help us along our way. It is on an entirely different vibe, a higher vibe, to ask for guidance on something specific in an effort to grow, learn, and become something better of ourselves.

Finding God

When people ask, “Have you found Jesus?”, I wonder what that means to them. I’ve heard responses from the truthful, “Yes. No. I thought I did. Not interested.”, to the joking, “I wasn’t aware he was lost.” I feel, personally, that people are missing the point…the whole point…of God. I am being completely serious when I say this. Here’s why….

If you follow your bible, Jesus said he came so that we may have life. I feel strongly that people were supposed to learn from him in how to have a one-on-one connection with God. That is why he spoke. That is what he wanted to teach. That was his way of life. Yet many, many only see Jesus as their savior for their sins…not a teacher for reviving their soul. Did you catch that? Jesus wanted us to learn what a real connection with God is, not to die for the sins of a man who wouldn’t wake up to what it means to live a fulfilled spiritual life.

Jesus prayed alone. He listened to God directly. He followed what he felt led to do. He trusted God completely. I think the question should be, “Do you want a great one-on-one relationship with God, like Jesus has?”

Jesus came to teach. God wants the one-on-one with you, anytime you’ll have him.
