What if God’s message is to be KIND?

People follow the bible and all these rules. They seek or are in a religion that speaks to their soul, yet some of them still wonder if they’ll get into Heaven. To this, I don’t really understand, but everyone’s journey is their own to sort out and live, so…there’s that.

What if God’s message is to be kind? God came directly in the old testament and spoke to people about many things, leading as he saw fit. According to the new testament, Jesus came and tried to teach people how to live a one-on-one with God and to be kind.

I am not saying the bible isn’t valid for some people. I am proposing to you, “What if it’s as simple as being kind?”

Everyone is doing their best, including you. Some days, everyone falls short, including you. Me too. I think a little more kindness all the way around is the answer to a lot of prayers.

Gifts, God, and Jesus

I believe all of us have gifts and talents meant for us to shine and share and uplift. How do you feel about that? Do you believe you’ve got something extra? I believe you do. I believe each person does. Sometimes those extras need more refining, like singing or learning the human body to become a doctor in some way. Other times, they come easier and may seem like just something you’re good at, like making apple pie or listening to a friend’s troubles.

What about psychic gifts? I believe these are valid God given gifts and talents. I was just stating online how I tried to separate the two in my own life. According to the people holding the Bible, the things I do are considered sins. However, if one were to look closer at certain aspects of the Bible, the Jesus they speak of that saves them is also the Jesus that prophesied, healed the sick, and listened to God directly.

To deny any of these spiritual gifts is to deny Jesus in some way. I mean, if the Bible says he did these things and that we are made of God just like he is, then it stands to reason that we’re all gifted in some way and some of us are spiritually gifted in ways that Jesus was.

I have said before and will say this many times, Jesus came to teach us how to live our lives with a loving God presence. The fact that he asked God to forgive people is something he chose to do. He chose this, in my thinking, because people were not listening to his messages all along. They were still lost sheep.

If you’re looking to follow the Bible to find God, start with Jesus’ life, make notes. See how you feel about things then. For me, I’ve been listening to God for years on a personal level. Sometimes he directs me to Bible verses as needed, but mostly he directs me in other ways.

I am psychically gifted and have solid faith in God. This is the path I live. I know not everyone will understand it. I’m okay with this. I am here to be of service for those who are seeking something different and may need my guidance or words of comfort.

God in the Cards — official deck

I created a deck of cards from tarot guidelines to be used as a tool in the aid of intuition in a one-on-one faith with God. The intention is to offer something that wasn’t the Bible, but definitely something tangible to help guide oneself along when needed.

The first deck came in and I love everything about it. I figured I’d like it and that was enough, but the reality is, I super duper love it. It’s all that I imagined and more. It’s vibe is good. The readings are spot on. The encouragement is there in spades. I love them more every single time I use them. They literally are a gentle intuitive tool for “checking in” with your intuition or on your path at some spots to give a perspective outside of oneself.

If you’d like a card read for you, please get with me on my contact page for particulars. I will be giving one card readings for $5 each. You can choose one card just because, one daily, one weekly, one per topic, etc. This is just an amazing experience!

Thoughts and Perspectives, Bible

I’ve been researching lots as of late…trying to seek out more of my personal path. I want to let go of the panic, fear, and worry in certain areas of my life…to have more room for grace, love, and right direction.

In the process, I’ve come across Bible talking, verses to explore, and a new insight into validation for my perspective. I’m not one to explore the Bible more than what God gives to me because I know it’s a tricky slope to wander.

There are some people completely sure of the words in their Bible; however, there are also many versions of the Bible with different perspectives and guidelines they follow. A Pentecostal clearly sees the Bible differently than a Catholic. A Jehovah’s Witness has a different perspective than a Baptist. I am not saying any of them are wrong as it’s what each person feels in their heart to be truth words to them. I am saying it proves this world is much more diverse and needs more understanding of each other than just, “Are you saved?”

Some people tell us psychics we’re wrong and not following God in our life. One of my biggest eye openers this week was being reminded that Jesus appeared after his death several times, in spirit. That means he appeared to someone having the ability to see him. That right there is considered a psychic phenomena.

I was also comforted by the verse 1 Peter 4:10, which states “use the gifts you are given”. It says directly that God gave gifts. I believe everyone is known for something that people seek them out for. It could be a great apple pie, organizing books, or being a doctor. It is something unique to that no one else does quite like anyone else.

My ongoing analogy in this area is the gift of singing. There are lots of songs many different singers cover. Because each person’s voice is unique, despite them singing the same exact song with most of the same exact tune, each version is different. That’s how it is. That’s the beauty of differences.

What about God?

If I had one post to share with you my feelings and relationship with God, it could be this one. Could one post give you that perspective shift you’re seeking? Could one set of words help you see God in a way that calms your soul? Could today be the day you’re in for a change that forever alters your life for the best? Maybe.

I’ve gone to several different denominations of religion. Each had things I’ve learned from. I believe there is something to be learned from just about everything, even if it’s something NOT to do in your own life. That said, I never felt completely at home in any of the churches I’ve visited.

The last church of worship I went to was a Unity Church about an hour from my house. There they teach the Bible in a metaphysical way, with definitions of the words, such as sin (to miss the mark) to give a different view on the Bible. They actually sell tarot cards in their little gift shop, along with other wonderful things. It was the closest I’d come to feeling at home at a church, but that still wasn’t quite right for me. I liked some of what the pastor lady said and some of it, like pressuring us to give to the church in a guilt trip way, spoiled the whole sermon.

I sometimes pictured myself up there on the podium. I wanted to share, even then, a God of love, understanding, and helpfulness. I looked into it actually and it’s like a two year learning process of their views and of the Bible.

It’s not that I dislike the Bible, please don’t think that. There are verses in there I have taken to and will read up on other verses as the need arises. However, there are many versions of the Bible, some religions have taken text out, some have created whole new “messages from God” and it’s all a bit much for me.

I think, while the Bible is a great thing, it isn’t for me personally. I think it can be summed up to something even simpler. Something like…do your best, help one another, know that everyone else is doing their best too. God loves you.

Christian Warnings to Psychics, why?

I happened upon a thread post from a member of a group I am in. The lady said she’d decided to embrace her psychic side. Lots of us in the group cheered her on, some that related, some that didn’t. Others in the group jumped in with bible verses and christian warnings.

All of us handled the thread well and some of us agreed to disagree. That said, some of it I don’t really get. I try to ponder the fact that a christian wants to make sure I’m on a good path by telling me what I’m doing wrong. I don’t get it.

My thinking is that we, as adults, are all seeking our own path and some of us are very sure of the path we’re taking. I wonder if those that are trying to steer us “over there” are unsure of their own path…or if we seem like an easy target for their own personal points to get into heaven.

I asked one lady what she was trying to get out of it. She said she wasn’t trying to get anything out of it, she just thought we should know.

I don’t necessarily go around to churches or even individual people and tell them they’re doing things wrong and that they should consult their nearest intuitive business.

This really baffles me. Maybe I am sensitive about it and probably am, but…even when I try to rationally think on it…it’s baffling.

Finding God

When people ask, “Have you found Jesus?”, I wonder what that means to them. I’ve heard responses from the truthful, “Yes. No. I thought I did. Not interested.”, to the joking, “I wasn’t aware he was lost.” I feel, personally, that people are missing the point…the whole point…of God. I am being completely serious when I say this. Here’s why….

If you follow your bible, Jesus said he came so that we may have life. I feel strongly that people were supposed to learn from him in how to have a one-on-one connection with God. That is why he spoke. That is what he wanted to teach. That was his way of life. Yet many, many only see Jesus as their savior for their sins…not a teacher for reviving their soul. Did you catch that? Jesus wanted us to learn what a real connection with God is, not to die for the sins of a man who wouldn’t wake up to what it means to live a fulfilled spiritual life.

Jesus prayed alone. He listened to God directly. He followed what he felt led to do. He trusted God completely. I think the question should be, “Do you want a great one-on-one relationship with God, like Jesus has?”

Jesus came to teach. God wants the one-on-one with you, anytime you’ll have him.
